The iLive-T112 is a control console working only with an iDR series rack mixer (112 control strips integrated in 4 layers; 28 faders, 16 linear inputs, 14 outputs). Allen&Heath has developed a new digital mixer system for iLive «live» sound. The system has revolutionary design and fully configurable bus architecture.
The heart of the system is the iDR-10 - a rack module representing autonomous mixing system. The rack module contains 8-channel units with microphone and linear preamplifiers and digital control on input channels, balance outputs, and also additional modules with digital inputs and outputs. The number of units can be arbitrary and depends on system requirements. Control of channel parameters, sound mixing and processing are carried out by means of integrated DSR. The built-in FX effects module allows use of plug-ins to be delivered in the future.
For sound signal transmission are used two EtherSound networks, one providing signal transmission between the rack module and the console and other sound hardware as well, replacing traditional multicor. The other EtherSound network is used for system extension, for example for connection of the second iLive system.
